Connect Your Phone or Bluetooth Speaker to Your Echo Device with the Alexa App
Easy Setup in a Few Simple Steps
Prepare Your Devices
Before you begin, make sure you have the Alexa app installed on your mobile device and that you have the password for your Wi-Fi network handy. Also, put your Bluetooth device in pairing mode.
Connect from Your Phone
On your phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Then, select your Echo device from the list of available devices. Once the connection is established, you will hear a confirmation sound from your Echo device.
Enable Bluetooth on Your Echo Device
To enable Bluetooth on your Echo device, issue the following command: "Alexa, enable Bluetooth." Your Echo device will then start searching for nearby Bluetooth devices.
Complete the Pairing Process
Once your Echo device has found your Bluetooth device, select it from the list. You may be prompted to enter a passcode, which you can find in the Alexa app or on the back of your Echo device. After entering the passcode, the pairing process will be complete, and you will be able to stream audio from your Bluetooth device to your Echo device.
